FAQ

Questions parents ask

Does my teen need a learner's permit before beginning lessons?

Yes. The student must bring their original, valid California learner's permit to every lesson.

Will my teen practice freeway driving?

Freeway driving may be included when the instructor determines that the student has the control, awareness, and confidence needed to practice safely.

Do you guarantee that my teen will pass the DMV driving test?

No. Professional lessons help students develop driving skills and prepare for the test, but passing depends on the student's performance and the DMV examiner's evaluation.

Does a parent need to attend the lesson?

A parent or legal guardian does not need to ride along, but must complete the required enrollment documents, approve the pickup and drop-off locations, and remain reachable during the lesson.
