On the road
Roads you'll learn on
Lessons start on the streets around your home. When you're ready, they can move to the roads you'll drive every day here, like the county expressways: Lawrence, San Tomas, Central, Montague, Capitol, Almaden, Foothill and Oregon-Page Mill.
Freeway practice on 101, 280, 880, 85 or 87 is for drivers who already have some experience, or who need it for a commute.
