Who we are. LLG Driving School ("LLG," "we," "us") provides driving lessons in San Francisco and San Mateo County, and online driver education through a partner. Our office is at 221 Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA 94108. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@llgdrivingschool.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us, book a lesson, or enroll in a course, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, and pickup and drop-off addresses; the student's age and permit or license status; for students under 18, a parent or guardian's name and contact details; a photo of the student's permit or license and the signatures given when booking; lesson notes, skill scores and progress records created by your instructor; records of your calls and texts with us; and payment confirmation details (payments themselves are processed by our booking and payment providers, and we do not store full card numbers).

When your browser loads our website, our web host and font provider receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and device. The pickup checker on our Areas We Serve page runs in your browser, and we don't receive what you type into it. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel also record how you use our website (see "Cookies and tracking" below).

How we use your information

We use your information to schedule and deliver lessons, confirm pickup addresses and times, process payments and refunds, send booking confirmations and reminders by email or text, keep required student and training records, respond to your questions, and improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal information. If you accept cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our website, and Google Ads to see which of our Google ads lead to bookings (see "Cookies and tracking" below).

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the business: with the instructors and partner driving schools who deliver your lessons; with the service providers that run our booking system (Airtable for records, Softr for the instructor app, Stripe for payments, Google for email and the lesson calendar, RingCentral for calls and texts), our website host, website analytics and advertising providers (Google and Meta, only if you accept cookies), and phone, email and text messaging providers; with our online driver education provider (Traffic Tutors, California DMV license E0159) when you enroll in the online course; and with the California DMV when required for student records and completion certificates. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the safety of students, instructors, or others.

Text messages and email

If you agree to texts, book with us, or text us first, LLG Driving School sends customer care texts about your questions, bookings, lesson scheduling and payments, sometimes with links. We also send booking confirmations, lesson reminders, and a short summary after each lesson by email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email support@llgdrivingschool.com. Opting out of texts doesn't cancel or reschedule a lesson.

We don't share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Only the providers that send our texts receive them.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for analytics and advertising only if you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you choose "Decline," the site works the same and none of these cookies are set. You can change your choice anytime with the cookie settings button on our site. We save your choice in a small cookie so we don't ask again.

Google Analytics shows us how visitors use our website. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. We don't send Google your name, email address, or phone number, and we don't use Google Analytics for advertising.

How Google uses information from sites that use its services

Google's opt-out browser add-on (blocks Google Analytics on all websites)

Google Ads shows us whether someone who clicked one of our Google ads went on to book. If you arrive from one of our ads, it saves a cookie that remembers the ad click. When you finish paying, it tells Google the package price and a payment reference number. We don't send Google your name, email address, or phone number, and we don't use Google Ads to show you ads on other websites.

The Meta Pixel shows us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and bookings, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited our website. It sends Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, information such as the pages you view, the booking buttons you click, your device and browser type, and your IP address. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. We don't send Meta your name, email address, or phone number. You can manage the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Meta's Privacy Policy

We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools. It doesn't set cookies on its own. Our hosting network also sets one security cookie that helps protect the site from abuse. Our site doesn't respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but analytics and advertising tools run only if you accept them in our cookie banner.

Students under 18

We collect information about students under 18 only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who completes enrollment on the student's behalf. Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep by law. California residents also have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, and to request deletion. To make a request, email support@llgdrivingschool.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep booking, payment, and student training records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet California DMV and tax record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize them. We delete the photo of the permit or license once the instructor has checked the original at the first lesson. We keep signatures with the booking records.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure third-party providers for payments and scheduling. No system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your information has been misused.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
