Roads you'll learn on

Lessons start on the streets around your home. When you're ready, they can move to busier roads and freeways like 880, 580, 980 and 238.

Freeway practice is for drivers who already have some experience, or who need it for a commute.

DMV offices in the East Bay

You book your own drive test on the DMV website.

Questions

Is the price the same as in San Francisco?

Yes. Every lesson costs the same wherever we pick you up.

Is there a charge for distance?

No extra mileage charges. Travel between pickup and drop-off is part of the lesson time.

What do I need to bring?

An original, valid California instruction permit or California driver's license, at every lesson.
